Here we have a wonderful tin toy in the form of a laying hen. She retains her vivid painting in a classic palette of red, blue and yellow. She comes complete with a clutch of 8 painted wooden eggs when deposited in a chute at the top of her tail, turn the hand crank and an egg is laid! This sweet piece remains in wonderful vintage condition and the “laying” mechanism is in working order.
