This delightful antique tin toy, made by Lehmann circa 1903-1907, features a colorfully dressed clown driving a cart pulled by a tin donkey with a flocked finish and string reins. The lithographed tin wheels feature gaily dressed circus performers. The key mechanism is sticky / non functioning, but some movement of the clown can be achieved by pushing the toy manually. A wonderful piece to display under a feather tree or to add texture and color to the doll cabinet year round.

Measures: 7 1/2” long, 2 1/4” wide.
